Ally G.

Allyson Genovese, better known as Ally G, is a native of Connecticut. Ally left a successful career holding her series 6, 63 and Insurance licenses in the financial industry, after having a child. 
 
She has made it a priority to teach her family the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and has since became a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, aroma touch therapist and reflexologist.


For the past 15+ years Ally has coordinated and hosted hundreds of charity events to benefit Homeless Shelters in CT, St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, The American Cancer Society, Various Veterans Programs, Underprivileged Children and several fundraisers for specific individuals in their time of need. 
 
Ally continues her work internationally through her annual mission trips abroad. Her crusade is to be an inspiration to others by encouraging them to gain control of their lives, making healthy choices, becoming active and believing in themselves. Her motto is “Inspiring others to believe in miracles”.
 
Ally has appeared in World Physique Magazine and Poise New England Pageant Magazine, has been a model of fitness wear in the Caribbean Islands, and has been a frequent special guest on FTNS radio and iHeart radio. She has also appeared in the movie “The Heat”, HBO mini series “Olive Kitteridge”, a hip hop music video and various TV commercials.
 
Allyson can be followed on her YouTube vlog under “Adventures with Ally G”. She is also the author of From Mom To Fitness Model, and has earned the titles of WBFF Pro (World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Inc.) in 2011, Ms. Tri-State 2014, Ms. New England States 2015, Mrs. Connecticut America 2016 and made the top 15 at Mrs. America.

Vice-President

Matt Van Ness

Matt Van Ness is the owner and operator of MV Film Productions, a Connecticut based film production company. Matt met Allyson back when she was competing for Mrs. America 2016 and produced all of the video media for her as Mrs. Connecticut America 2016.

 

Matt is Allyson’s personal producer for their video blog channels and adventures experienced everywhere. MV Films is the official production company for Ally G’s Everyday Angels Foundation producing all content for the foundation’s media site. Along with all of this, Matt is the vice-president to the foundation working alongside Allyson as her “right-hand man” for everything that this organization does. He credits Allyson and every board member for all of the hard work they do. “I’m so proud to be a part of this foundation and I’m blessed to be able to help give back to those in need all over. I’ve experienced seeing the gratitude, joy and smiles from those receiving donations from Ally G’s Everyday Angels Foundation first hand and this is exactly what this foundation is all about and why I jumped at the opportunity to join and take on the position as vice-president.”

 

Matt graduated from the New England Institute of Art located in the Boston Area with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science for Digital Video Production and Audio. He currently resides in Meriden, Connecticut working out of his home-based studio.

Martin Vincent

Martin is from the UK and our first International board member.

 

As a Graphic Designer for over 30 years he brings a wealth of experience to us and helps us with all our marketing requirements, he is also a SEO Specialist (Search Engine Optimization) which helps search engines especially Google to rank your website for your chosen keywords, improve rankings, maximize exposure, gain new clients and increase profits.

 

Martin is a giver and loves being part of Ally G’s Everyday Angels as he can give us the professional edge we need to stand out.

Iole Punzo

Iole Punzo RN,BSN is certified in aesthetics from The New England School of Aesthetics
Education where she trained for over 800 hours in both comfort and medical aesthetics.
She is a graduate of St. Joseph College where she received her BSN in nursing with a minor in Biology. Iole has been in the medical field for over 20 years of which over a decade in aesthetics alone. Her interest in aesthetics medicine stems from the many years of caring and working in the field of ICU/trauma and surgery.


It has always been her goal to preserve a sense of dignity and confidence in someone while healing their physical injuries. Her passion has led her out of the clinical setting and into the home. “I have had the chance to help give someone back their life in the ICU now I can aid in restoring their confidence and love for life.” Whether it be through feeding the soul with massage or implementing treatments to remodel a scar, she has always dedicated herself to helping a client reach that goal.


Iole Punzo is certified in the use of several lasers for skin resurfacing, pigment, laser hair removal, and vascular lesion therapies. She is certified in performing several aesthetic injectable treatments such as vein therapy, neurotoxins and dermal filler administration. She has assisted many clients in developing medical and surgical plans of care for any aesthetic concerns boosting confidence and dignity.


Iole is devoted to her clients and well being. In doing so she has kept skin blogs and written several skin related articles keeping her clients updated and informed of the latest. She is also a board member for The Esthetic Coalition of Ct which is responsible for creating the educational curriculum for esthetics leading to licensing in Connecticut. She has been a medspa owner/ operator in the past and is currently working as the Aesthetic Nurse Specialist for Dr. Ronald S. Jurzyk of Advanced Dermatology Center and his team of skin experts. "It is an honor and a privilege to work with such an incredible team.

Jr. Board Members

Reese
Co-Founder of the Jr Board Division 

Reese is in middle school. She was 2021 Connecticut’s Kid Governor and works to help 5th graders in Connecticut have good mental health by being positive. Her 3-step platform contains 3 ways she helps students and adults in the state.

1. Brighten the lives of residents in nursing home by sending handmade cards and care packages to cheer them up!
2. Create a virtual Community Crate where students can write positive messages to one another, and hold a positive poster contest to promote positivity in communities.
3. Hold an outdoors-A-thon contest where students can spend time outside to stay positive and participate in a fun competition with their friends.

Reese loves to help others and has held a few Animal Shelter Drives in the past for local shelters. She has 2 dogs named Walter and Stanley, and a cat named Lucy. She loves to help her mom with events she holds to help others with her foundation.

She has joined the board as a JR. Board member in 2019 because she wants to continue helping others all over the world.

Ava

Ava Martin is a 7th grade student at Joseph A. DePaolo Middle school. Ava is an Honor Roll student who is always looking to get involved in school activities, she enjoys reading and is highly creative and enjoys art, especially sketching and painting.


Ava has been actively involved in supporting and helping local charities within the Southington community and is thrilled to be able to be apart of Ally G's Everyday Angels Foundation.

Nicole

Nicole attends the AP Academy at Carolina Forest High School in Myrtle Beach, SC as a member of the Class of 2024 with a 4.0+ GPA. She is a South Carolina Junior Scholar, member of the Junior Beta club and is 1 of few students accepted into the Academy for the Arts, Science and Technology in Horry County. She is Captain of the JV Cheer Team after having competed in dance competitions for 8 years and studying music at Kevin Jones Performing Arts Studio.

Though Nicole was born in Central Connecticut, she lives with her parents, 2 dogs and 3 cats in Myrtle Beach. In addition to working part time, Nicole has set her sights on improving her health and meeting fitness goals. 

What started in elementary school has continued with Nicole's desire to help others and volunteer. She has taken a page out of her mother's book in giving back to those in need of help. Nicole hopes to continue this trend by becoming a psychologist and to one day travel to underprivileged areas to help wherever she can.

The diversity of Ally G's Every Day Angels Foundation and the work it does is an exciting prospect. Nicole is honored and is looking forward to working as a Junior Board Member.
